Fishy Visitor from Carnac Island

You have a visitor from Carnac Island, one you've met before. It's Mr. Slender weed whiting enquiring, "How cool are the waters off Western Australia?"

For as you may know, Carnac Island is home of the Tiger Snakes, eek!

Agora Gallery website's cool Art display

My favorite feature on NYC's Agora Gallery website (besides Dreamyfish Art being a proud link partner!) is their Art Slideshow set up as if various paintings are hanging behind the desk in their reception area.

The sad situation of the Longhorn cowfish

New Scientist is reporting that Longhorn cowfish are in serious trouble, and all the Dreamyfish I know are very sad about the situation.

These worsening conditions affect other species as well so check out the NS article if you will.

Stimulus Money to Fund Coral Reef Restoration!

McClatchy News is reporting that $3.3 million from the president's stimulus package is to fund the restoration of coral reefs in Florida and the US Virgin Islands.

All the Dreamyfish here in the Dreamyfish Art collection are psyched to hear the good news and our little blue planet should be as well...

Clown surgeonfish says, Happy Birthday, America!

Here's a lovely little Clown surgeonfish from Western Australia floating by to say Hello!

Having gotten word in the last 3 days of three friends having surgery (one of them shockingly unexpected), I thought perhaps a surgeonfish was the way to swim around here at Dreamyfish Art today.

But don't forget to mosey by my latest blog Two Hours You'll Never Get Back where you'll find more of my drawings on several themes (including fishies), a bunch of other stuff (such as America's Solar Return 2009 for July 4th!), and some very interesting links to other blogs and sites as well...
